Thai-Danish beauty wins hearts in Miss Universe first round
Thai-Danish beauty queen Anntonia Porsild on Wednesday received thunderous applause and cheers from fans as she made a perfect debut in the preliminary round of the 72nd Miss Universe 2023 pageant in San Salvador, El Salvador.
Anntonia, 26, who represented Nakhon Ratchasima province in the domestic heats, was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2023 in August and has gone on to represent Thailand in the international pageant this week, competing against representatives from over 80 countries.
Fans who attended the event in the central America country said that Anntonia’s walk, poses and the way she introduced herself on the preliminary stage were “top notch”. She also won the hearts of all supporters with Thailand’s signature wai greeting.
Before the first round, beauty queens from 84 countries and territories participated in a variety of activities to promote El Salvador’s tourism as well as social responsibility campaigns.
Anntonia will don the Thai traditional costume in the national costume round on Thursday evening. Fans can watch the tape of this round at 10.20pm Thursday via JKN18 Top News channel.
The final round of Miss Universe 2023 will be held on Sunday (November 19) at 7am (Thailand time) and will be broadcast live via JKN18 Top News channel.
