After winning no events on Friday, Thai athletes started the second week in Jakarta with a gold medal in jetski roundabout 110 stock. Thirty-three-year-old Attapon Kunsa from Nong Khai was announced the winner just a few hours after countryman Phadit Buree from Maha Sarakham initially won the event. However, Attapon was promoted from the runner-up to the winner as Phadit was caught fouling in the last moto and had to be content with the silver.

In Palembang, Thailand beat Laos 2-0 in the men’s sepak takraw team doubles final for the third gold medal from sepak takraw after the men’s and women’s regu teams.
Thailand also won a silver in women’s BMX by Chutikan Kitwanitsathian after timing 40.37 seconds behind winner Zhang Yaru of China (39.64 secs) at the Pulo Mas International BMX Center.
Thailand have won eight gold medals ( sepak takraw 3, taekwondo 2, paragliding 2, jetski 1) in the 18th Asiad which will end next Sunday.
