My Mate Nate no friend of the junta

Re: “Nate apologises for railway-track coin prank and may face charges”, The Nation, yesterday.

Nate is extremely popular and he loves to poke fun at all the very odd things about Thailand. My daughters, aged 10 and 11, learned about him from their friends at school. Yes, he is that popular!
Meanwhile, the junta is working hard to change Thailand – it’s history, culture, ideas, laws, etc – so they don’t like Nate.
Here they are charging him with nonsense and making themselves look foolish.
