By applying iconography, Komkrit’s sculpture and site-specific installation deals with the interrelationship between space, people, beliefs, memories, and superimposes historical events of the Thonglor area where the project is hosted. The work conceptually takes audience back to the past with the narrative of the current social context and space-based imagination to speculate upon the future.
The project aims will encourage the development of young artists’ work and also foster the collaboration between private and business sectors in promoting young artists.
Organised by the Bangkok Art and Culture Center and sponsored by Thai Beverage, the project is curated by Narongsak Nilkhet.
