The firm spent Bt200 million setting up a “Fanta Twist Parc” at Siam Center that opened over the weekend with an event called “Absolute Siam Experience”.
Guests were invited to create their own prints for souvenir bottles using a 360-degree “VR (Virtual Reality) Twist” device, while Peck Palitchoke and net idols Pimtha and VJ Mild Viraporn entertained.
Kitisak Manoratana of Coca-Cola (Thailand) said it’s a summer concept “to help consumers live a more playful, carefree life”.
“Beat the heat with the Fanta Twist bottle to stay in a good mood with all the bright colours and sparkling fruit flavours.
“Our plan is to make Fanta Twist Parc at Atrium 1 at Siam Center a playground for the young generation,” he said. “It will be a place where teens can bring their playfulness and enjoy fun activities with a twist. The whole place will have the colours unique to Fanta, giving out a vibe inspired by the new Fanta Twist bottle. For three months there’ll be other playful activities to encourage consumers to enjoy a spontaneous life.”
The 20 best personally designed bottle prints are being submitted at the venue and to www.Dek-D.com. The winning prints will be projected onto a giant screen in Siam Square and featured on the Fanta Facebook page,
Fanta Twist bottles, both glass and PET, hold all the favourite flavours – orange, strawberry, grape and fruit punch.
