The top women singers of a decade ago will share the stage next month.

Green Wave 106.5 FM is bringing Thailand’s top female singers to the stage again in “Seven Return”, its 16th Green Concert, next month at Siam Paragon.
Saowalak “Amp” Leelabutr, Mai Charoenpura, Marsha Wattanapanich, Nicole Theriault, Haruthai “Au” Muangboonsri, Myria “Nat” Benedetti and Pakkaramai “Tong” Potranan previewed the show and their blue-and-white theme for the press last week at GMM Grammy headquarters.
Their voices are as powerful as ever, as demonstrated in their “friendship” song, “Khwam Rak Thang 7”. And their happy memories of their heyday more than a decade ago remain vivid.
“Thirteen years have gone by, but our love and friendship are still the same,” Amp said.
“We’d like everybody to come to the concert with close friends and enjoy each other’s companionship. And don’t forget to wear a white shirt and blue jeans!”
Saithip “Chod” Montrikul na Ayudhaya, co-chief at GMM Grammy and chief executive of A-Time Media, spelled out the details of the double concert.
“There’s no denying the fact that everybody is waiting for this group and concert,” she said. “These days it’s hard to gather these seven artists for a concert because each has her own busy schedule and her own business. So this is quite phenomenal.
“Most importantly, part of proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Luk Riang Group – the Children and Youth Association for Peace – in the southern border provinces to help kids who have suffered mentally from the violence in the South. Some have lost parents.”
