Women’s national volleyball team trounce South Korea
The Thai women’s national volleyball team triumphed over South Korea 3-0 in the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League on Wednesday in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Thailand won against South Korea 25-11, 25-22, 25-17 in the third week of the competition.
Of the total score, 14 came courtesy Thai volleyball player Chatchu-on Moksri.
Thailand has now gained a score of 15 from five victories and four loses.
The team remained 14th in world rankings, while South Korea fell to 19th, according to the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball.
In order to get a berth in the Olympic Games 2024 in Paris, Thailand must make it into the top 12.
The Thai team will lock horns with the Dominican Republic on Thursday at 5.30pm.
