The Leicester contingent flew to the Thai capital straight after scoring an emotional 1-0 Premier League win over Cardiff in South Wales, their first game after the crash at King Power Stadium that also killed two members of his staff, another passenger and the pilot.
They arrived in Bangkok on Sunday and went straight to the funeral at Wat Debsirindrawas Ratchaworawiharn.
The team must soon return to England in order to prepare for Saturday’s home game with Burnley.
The funeral was also attended on Monday by Prime Minister Prayut Chanocha, as well as the Thailand team and their Serbian coach, Milovan Rajevac.
