Serena, just admit you were wrong and apologise

Somsak Pola defends Serena Williams, saying she was just “having a bad day” when she halted her US Open final to call the umpire a liar and a thief. Yes, we all have had bad days, but Williams has had one too many – and two when she was losing. Do you ever see Roger Federer lose his temper when losing? No, he just gets on with his game. The first thing Williams needs to do is make a public apology to Umpire Carlos Ramos and to her opponent Naomi Osaka. Maybe then the public will back off.
