Liberty, or tyranny of the majority?

Re: “Attack on liberty and tolerance by the LGBT tyrants”, Have Your Say, yesterday.

Just when you think Nigel Pike has finally stumbled into the flat serenity of rational ground, he suffers yet another catastrophic lapse in judgement, and beats a hasty retreat back into his safe terrain of overcast Cuckooland. Queerly, he bludgeons us with the ridiculous and highly inappropriate words “tyrants”, “tyranny” and “diabolical”. According to Nigel, “the desire to be heterosexual is being criminalised in both [the] UK and US”. Good freaking grief. In some dystopian, Dali-esque tableau, Nigel compounds his “unusual” approach to reality, as the overwhelming majority of us perceive it, by bizarrely stating that “The tyrants (yep, it’s THAT bad) have pressured the UK’s Conservative government into making “gay conversion” psychotherapy illegal. Or, more truthfully, preventing the irrational and aberrant engineering of a human being’s natural evolutionary proclivities into something deemed “normal” by Nigel and his ilk.
Nigel, as the compos mentis among us understand, is never totally unacquainted with, ah, dingbat theories. His aversion to democracy is well known in these pages, as aptly exemplified by the above, and he can never free himself from the need to let us all know it. Tediously banging on about the so-called “insidious” effect of the Frankfurt School reached the point of total ennui and absolute exhaustion ages ago. Nigel compounds his delusional rants by warning against an “affront to liberty”, while roundly condemning desperate refugees for wanting the same thing. There is a word for this attitude.
