Carcinogen in coffee found in plants, but not meat

The latest bad and good food-news: coffee will apparently soon be served with a cancer risk warning in California because of its acrylamide content.

Acrylamide is a likely carcinogen. And sadly, again some bad news for the veggie missionaries, acrylamide is found mainly in plant food and does not form in dairy, meat and fish products. And when cancer already is triggered, the cancer cell’s preferred food is fructose. Stay firm at your plate with omega 3-rich salmon or grass-fed beef from where only grass can grow.
