From the banks of the Thames, in the 16th century village of Bray, this legendary “restaurant with bedrooms” has been serving inspirational French cuisine since 1972. It gained its first Michelin star in the UK Guide’s launch publication in 1974 and a second followed in 1977 before the ultimate accolade in 1985 when The Waterside Inn achieved three Michelin stars.
Now, the restaurant is in hands of Michel’s son, Chef Patron, Alain Roux and remains the only restaurant in the world outside France to have retained those coveted stars for more than 30 years. Chef Roux will offer a five-course lunch menu for Bt4,900-plus, a seven-course dinner menu for Bt8,900-plus and the grand finale, a seven-course wine dinner for Bt12,900-plus on September 30 only.
