COUNT DOWN TO THE 2017 INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONS CUP SINGAPORE

Singapore – With just four days to the 2017 International Champions Cup Singapore (ICC SG), preparations are in its final stages to ensure the Clubs and spectators at the National Stadium enjoy the matches in the best environment possible.

To mark the momentous occasion, organisers are pulling out all the stops to ensure an unforgettable experience for attendees and ticket holders are encouraged to arrive early and soak up the electric atmosphere and participate in the exciting activities before the matches.

Ticket holders to ICC SG can expect treats and fun experiences served up from the Clubs and ICC SG on the days of the matches – July 25, 27 and 29. At the specially created Fan Zone (located at OCBC Square), spectators will feel as if they’ve been transported to Stamford Bridge, the Allianz Arena and San Siro as Chelsea FC, FC Bayern and FC Internazionale recreate the atmosphere of their famed home grounds in Singapore.

Join in the Club songs and chants while being entertained by Club mascots, Stamford, Bridget and Bernie. Capture key photo moments with the many trophies on display. Take your pick for a snap with trophies from the Champions League, Serie A, English Premier League and Bundesliga.

Activities at the Fan Zone begin from 4pm and fans can head to the stadium early and enjoy the specially planned activities by the Clubs and ICC SG and win attractive Club premiums and prizes, including a return flight to Munich to catch a game at the Allianz Arena.

Fans who enter the National Stadium early will also be rewarded with key highlights from the global ICC matches that begins today in China with FC Bayern playing Arsenal. Gates open from 6pm and teams are expected to be on the pitch from 6.45pm for a 30-minute warm up before kick-off at 7:35pm.

The action doesn’t stop at full-time as ticket holders will be able to catch free shuttle busses to Chijmes or Clarke Quay to continue with the celebrations.

Ticket holders will stand to enjoy savings at selected establishments located within Chijmes, Clarke Quay and South Beach. With a week left to kick-off on July 25, fans can still take the opportunity to experience top quality European football together as a family with the Kids Go Free campaign.

To encourage quality family time and to inspire the next generation in pursuing sporting excellence, ticket holders to the second match, FC Bayern vs FC Internazionale on 27 July, will be able to bring their children, grandchildren and friends with them to the game for FREE (limited to 6 children, aged 3 – 12, per transaction.

Scheduled to take place at the National Stadium July 25, 27 and 29, the ICC Singapore will feature Chelsea FC, FC Bayern and FC Internazionale in a round-robin three-match tournament.

The fixtures will mark the first time top-flight European teams play each other in Singapore, which is the only country in Southeast Asia to host a leg of the annual tournament for the next four years (2017 – 2020).
