The Hong Kong Tourism Board is hosting the ICBC (Asia) e-Sports & Music Festival at the Hong Kong Coliseum from August 4 to 6.

It’s part of commemorations for the 20th anniversary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR).

Video-game enthusiasts will be out in force for the world’s first “Return of the Legends” tournament, spanning all three days. Professional league players of the online game League of Legends will arrive from as far away as Europe to compete for the world title.

The tournament will be broadcast live on television in eight languages including Thai.

On August 5, Hong Kong’s first SMTown Special Stage will be shared among South Korean musical giants such as Super Junior, SHINee, Luna, Red Velvet and NCT.

The Festival Zone will be filled with great food, exciting e-sports and electronics to sample and purchase. Visitors can try out multiple-player VR e-Sports combat games, for example, and taste gourmet delights.

Admission, payable at the entrance, is HK$10 (Bt44).
