The best actress prize went to Davika Hoorne for a second year for her role as an old woman who morphs back to her youth in the comedy “20 Mai U-turn Wai Huajai Return” (“Suddenly Twenty”).
Actor-singer Ekachai Srivichai, meanwhile, won Best Actor for portraying a Manorah master in “Serd”.
The best supporting actor award was given to Nathasit Kotimanuswanich for “Awasarn Loke Suay”. Tanwarin Sukkhapisit’s “A Gas Station” won Best Art Direction and Best Supporting Actress for Apa “Maggi” Bhavilai.
Pimpka Towira’s “Mahasamut Lae Susan” (“The Island Funeral”) finally landed two awards, taking home best screenplay for Pimpaka and Kong Rithdee and best original score. The film was nominated for eight awards at the Subhanahongsa awards but unfortunately went home empty-handed. Uruphon Raksasad once again picked up best cinematography for “Thudongkhawat” (“Wandering”) while the best song prize went to “Chan Ja Pai” from the movie “From Bangkok to Mandalay.”
The upcoming filmmaker of the year went to the producer of “Rawang Rao Khrung Kon” (“Lost In Blue”) and the Box Office award to “Luang Pee Jazz 4G.”
Metta Rungrat and Chumporn Theppitak were recognised with Lifetime Achievement awards.
