The 15-year-old Bangkokian who became the first Thai junior in almost 10 years to reach this stage of a junior Grand Slam after Noppawan Lertcheewakarn did not have much to answer with the Pole duo, members of the reigning World Junior Under 16 Championship team.
“I have done so much better than I had expected. I knew it would be very tough against the Pole girls as I saw them play last year in Hungary. They didn’t lose a match,” said Thosaporn.
