FCCT doing its job - speaking truth to power

And I quote: “To be fair, the FCCT has never done anything that could be considered good for Thailand’s image – not once.”

Seriously? I recall listening to Senator Jon Ungpakorn and other distinguished members of the group Asean Parliamentarians for Human Rights speaking at the club in support of Aung San Suu Kyi when the embattled Myanmar MP was under house arrest. 

I wonder what Khun Vint considers to be “good”, when it comes to the FCCT? He writes, “Not one member has shown his appreciation for the hospitality received here from both the government and the populace.”

Give me a bit of time, and I am more than sure I could prove you wrong on that count.

Former FCCT chief Jonathan Head’s “complaint” was not directed towards “we Thais”. It was directed at this government.
