The leading nutrition, health and wellness company takes its nutrition message to Thailand's remotest districts

Nestle (Thai) Co recently organised a roadshow and street barista training for residents of Ao Luk district in the southern province of Krabi. Now in its fourth year, the project’s activities aim to share comprehensive nutritional knowledge and promote physical and mental health through fun and educational learning.
The activity attracted more than 5,000 residents. With a budget of Bt40 million, the company is aiming to bring the activities to families residing in 130 districts nationwide, 30 in the North, 45 in the Northeast, 24 in the Central region and 30 in the South.
“Good health comes from proper knowledge and understanding of nutrition. With this, people can choose a healthy and nutritious diet and make sure they exercise regularly,” said Nestle’s health and wellness group manager Kanokthip Prinyarnussorn. “That’s why we organise the Nestle roadshow for people living in remote communities.”
“What we get from the activity is very useful for our community because it covers all aspects of nutrition,” said Ao Luk resident Apanee Engchuan. “We have learned how to maintain a healthy and nutritious diet, read nutritional labels, and exercise regularly to achieve long-term health benefits.”
