Marking His Majesty’s birthday
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and his wife Naraporn Chan-o-cha presided over a ceremony offering alms to monks to mark His Majesty the King’s birthday on Thursday.
The ceremony took place at Sanam Luang in Bangkok’s Phra Nakhon district.
Ministers, government officials, soldiers and police officers attended the ceremony.
The premier and his wife also presided over a ceremony pledging allegiance to become lawful civil servants in tackling several issues for the country and people in line with royal guidance.
