Army pilot trainer Lt-Colonel Parnphong Banjongplien and his student Corporal Chanakorn Piemcharoen were burned to death when their helicopter caught fire and crashed.

The incident took place at 9.30am near the Chiraprawat Military Camp in Nakhon Sawan.
