Chiang Mai University field hospital closes

Chiang Mai University announced on Monday that it was closing the field hospital on its campus now that all Covid-19 patients being treated there have recovered and returned home.

The 300-bed field hospital was set up on April 10 to ease the burden on Chiang Mai Hospital.

The last group of patients was admitted to the hospital on May 2.
