112 inmates and officials at Narathiwat prison test positive for Covid-19
Narathiwat authorities informed the Ministry of Interior on Saturday that 112 inmates in Narathiwat prison had tested positive for Covid-19.
According to a document issued on Saturday, the infected people included 23 officials, 88 prisoners and a nurse. They were among a total of 2,334 prisoners and 97 officials.
The local government has set up a field hospital in the prison, and sent patients with severe condition to Narathiwat Ratchanakharin Hospital.
