A photograph taken at the October 17 political rally of Maria holding a sign reading “Justice for All” was doctored to read “I Will Not Work Until the King is Removed”.
Maria said the sharing of the edited photo has had a negative effect on her, and she wants to take legal action against the editor and the eight individuals who shared it.
Police said the suspects had violated the Computer Crime Act’s Article 16 and can face up to three years in prison and fines of up to Bt200,000 each.
