Bangkok bridges light up to celebrate King’s birthday
Thirteen bridges spanning the Chao Phraya River are providing a dazzling spectacle to celebrate the 68th birthday of HM King Vajiralongkorn (Rama X) later this month.
The Bangkok bridges are being illuminated by the Department of Rural Roads at the following locations:
• Phra Ram 3 Bridge
• Phra Ram 4 Bridge
• Phra Ram 5 Bridge
• Phra Ram 7 Bridge
• Maha Chetsadabodinthranuson Bridge
• Somdet Phra Pinklao Bridge
• Phra Phutthayotfa Bridge
• Phra Pokklao Bridge
• Somdet Phrachao Taksin Maharat Bridge
• Krung Thon Bridge
• Krung Thep Bridge
• Bhumibol 1 Bridge
• Bhumibol 2 Bridge
The bridges will be lit on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7pm to 10pm and then from 7pm to midnight from HM the King’s birthday on Tuesday (July 28) to Friday July 31.
