Logistics and international trade course to restart next month

The Department of Skills Development said today (June 22) that its training course on logistics and international trade will restart again after being suspended amid the Covid-19 crisis.

Director-general Thawat Benjatikul explained that each programme will have 50 participants. The third and fourth programmes will be restarted next month, while participants of the fifth and sixth were selected yesterday.
“We aim to educate 300 persons to serve in logistics and international trade businesses,” he said, adding that his department, the Thai International Freight Forwarders Association (TIFFA) and the International Transport & Business School teamed up to run the course.
Thawat said more than 230 who took the course have been hired and are working in organisations under TIFFA. He added that relevant agencies have invited professional workers in logistics and international trade businesses to participate in the course as lecturers or trainers.
