PM thanks tycoons for helping country during crisis
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has expressed his gratitude to business tycoons via his Facebook account for offering help to the government during the pandemic crisis.
He had previously sent letters to top businessmen in Thailand, asking for help to solve the financial issues of people who were affected by the Covid-19 situation.
He said it was not about money or the value of the projects that they had proposed but the spirit of the people of the country.
Prayut said this represented the unity, kindness and generosity of Thai people that usually shines during hardships and helps everyone overcome all issues.
