HM Queen Mother discharged from Chulalongkorn Hospital
Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother’s condition has improved and she has been discharged from Chulalongkorn Hospital, the Royal Household Bureau announced.
In the second statement issued on Tuesday, the bureau said the Queen Mother’s respiratory infection had improved and she no longer had any fever. Her cough too had subsided and the Queen Mother was able to talk without difficulty.
As a result, the team of doctors treating the Queen Mother advised Her Majesty to return to the Chitralada Royal Villa.
The Queen Mother was admitted to the hospital on July 21 after developing a fever and persistent cough.
