Police hunt Korat man after stepson killed
Police have launched a manhunt for a man who allegedly killed his stepson after an argument during a drinking session early on Thursday in Nakhon Ratchasima’s Khong district.
Khong police were alerted at 5.50am that Songyos Kulabutr, 35, had been killed at a house in Ban Mai Charoensri village in Tambon Nong Manao.
He was found dead with head injuries and a cut on his throat. A blood-stained hammer and long-handled knife were found near his body under the high-platform house.
Somporn Kulabutr, the father of Songyos, told police that his son often quarrelled with his stepfather, Paew Chankhan, 58, when they drank together.
Paew disappeared from the house.
