Cement truck company fined after dropping mortar on Patong Hill

A Phuket-based cement truck company has been fined after the truck dropped mortar as it was climbing Patong Hill on Tuesday afternoon.

CCTV showed the incident when the truck was going up Patong Hill and dropping mortar on the road along the way. The incident was reported by Kathu police.
The company manager today has been fined Bt10,000 by Kathu Law Enforcement officers.
Workers had to be called in to clear away the dried mortar and wash the road.
