Groom accused of bag snatching to fund Valentine wedding

Thewan Kaewkrajang was arrested at 10am near the Phra Thaen-Kamphaeng Saen intersection a few minutes after he allegedly snatched the victim's bag, containing Bt4,000 in cash and a cell phone from a nearby market, said Pol Captain Supachoke Boriboon of Kamphaeng Saen police. 
Thewan apparently said he was in urgent need of cash for a Bt60,000 dowry and Bt20,000 in gold to marry his girlfriend in the district, as her family had already set up the wedding for Valentine's Day.
