CCTV showed the two suspects on a motorbike in front of the Soi Songkhun shop.
One used a weapon, believed to be a knife, to threaten the female staff member and took a gold necklace valued at Bt20,000. Another suspect took Bt3,000 from the till.
Chalong police chief Col Pakkayot Tanongsak said: “We believe the two suspects lived near the shop. The victim confirmed that one bought goods from the shop before and might be a neighbour.
“We are checking worker camps. We believe that they will be arrested soon.”
