Kitten stands by its late owner

A kitten is seen sitting next to, and circling, its monk master’s dead body at his room within the Doi Tham Thong Monastery in Phayao’s Chiang Kham district when people on Tuesday morning discovered the body.

The authorities are still investigating 45-year-old Phra Thanawat Lorthongkham’s cause of death as his room was not ransacked and his body had no visible sign of wounds.
