Man jumps to death on Prachuap Khiri Khan rail line
A 54-year-old man leapt to certain death on a Prachuap Khiri Khan railway track early Monday as the Bangkok-Yala train approached.
Police said Somkiart Yaemklin, a resident of Tambon Thong Chai in Bang Saphan, apparently committed suicide.
The train, gaining speed after leaving Ban Krud station, was unable to stop in time and came to a halt about a kilometre further on.
