Assoc Professor Dr Suthin Wienwiwat, chief of the opinion survey project of the E-SAAN Centre for Business and Economic Research (ECBER) Faculty of Economics of Khon Kaen University, said Toon received 28.7 per cent of votes from respondents. He was followed by actor Bin Banluerit (9.8 per cent) and women and child's rights activist Paveena Hongakul (6.6 per cent).
The survey was carried out from December 14 to 17 among 2,548 sampled people from 20 northeastern provinces. The respondents were at least 18 years old.
