Director Rames Phromyen said his agency hoped visitors, especially young people, would experience an exciting museum visit and learn about Thailand in the exhibitions and activities aimed at paving the way for creating a sustainable learning society.
The Ngew Kla Kao theme is represented at events in various areas of the museum, including a physical strength test, a Chinese opera-style make-up workshop, a Chinese opera traditions session and “mysterious boxes of knowledge”.
The highlight will be an outdoor Chinese opera stage performance of “Mulan”, a Chinese legend in which a young maiden secretly takes her father’s place in order to save him from death in battle and becomes one of China’s greatest heroines in the process.
The Night at the Museum will be held from Friday to Sunday from 4pm to 10pm at Museum Siam in the Tha Tian area. For more information, call 02-225-2777 extension 518 or check out facebook.com/museumsiamfan.
