Robinson Club debuts in Thailand

Robinson Club, a wholly-owned subsidiary of travel brand TUI and its premium club brand, has announced the debut of the first Robinson Club in Thailand, at Khao Lak.

Over the past five years, Robinson Club’s portfolio of high-­end holiday resorts has grown, now boasting 25 clubs in 13 countries throughout Europe, Africa and Asia. The brand, originally developed in the German market, has grown quickly and now boasts a number of dedicated international clubs with multilingual staff and facilities to cater perfectly for guests from across the globe.
Operating under a new Vitya Holding Co joint venture between Robinson and the Chakrabandhu family, Robinson Club Khao Lak officially opened on November 1.
The Robinson Club Khao Lak, located on the west coast of Thailand about 85 kilometres from Phuket, is situated amid the unspoilt scenery of the Khao Lak rainforest. The property comprising more than 280,000 square metres, is located directly on the beach, and lies roughly eight kilometres from the city centre of Khao Lak.
The resort boasts 320 rooms in 13 categories ranging from spacious double and family rooms in the main building to suites, pool bungalows and luxury villas, some beachfront with direct access to the 13-kilometre white sandy beach.
