Watananisa Limworaphan, 44, said a stroke in 2014 left her paralysed along her right side and unable to earn an income.
She said her husband abandoned the family long ago, leaving her to take care of her 12 and 13-year-old daughters.
She lives in the Asa housing estate in Tambon Bang Khuwat, Muang Pathum Thani, on an income of Bt2,000 a month donated by a prayer group of which she and her late mother were members.
Watananisa also receives Bt800 a month as a disability allowance and a nearby temple occasionally provides meals for her daughters.
Her mother, who supported the family selling sweets, died of cancer in 2015.
Watananisa said she was worried about her daughters’ schooling. She said she feared the family would have nowhere to live if the bank seizes the house.
