Man stung by hornets, falls to death from cellphone tower
A man climbed a cellphone tower in Loei province to remove a hornets nest but was stung and fell to his death on Monday night, police said.
Police said Phanthorn Amart, 48, fell from the tower along a road in Ban Kok Thong village in tambon Kok Thong, Muang district at about 8pm.
The tower is about 70 metres high.
Phanthorn was stung on the left arm, waist and head, police said.
