Mum’s murder at Trang school leaves students, teachers terrified

Ladda Jindakaew, 33, was found on Monday evening, apparently strangled to death and with head injuries, in a restroom at the school in the Khao Wiset district village of Moo 7.
She’d taken her seven-year-old son to the school and went to use the toilet while he played football outside.
When she failed to return, the alarmed child began searching for her in tears. Other residents and the school janitor joined in the search.
Teacher Jitra Kansuwan said the incident had left students and staff terrified and urged police to solve the crime and find the murderer quickly.
Jitra said the school had never witnessed violence. Residents routinely used the football field and there had never been a problem, she said.
