Six troops were killed and four others wounded when Muslim insurgents detonated a roadside bomb on Monday.

Police said the attack occurred at 11.45am in Moo 5 village in tambon Namdam in Pattani’s Thung Yang Daeng district.
The bomb destroyed the vehicle transporting the troops.
