Thairath TV plans to cut staff by 15 per cent
Isranews agency reported on Wednesday that Thairath digital TV has offered staff early retirement aiming at cutting staff by 15 percent out of a total of 700 employees.
The move reflects digital TV operators’ difficultoies as many channels are struggling to survive.
The report suggested that Thairath TV lost Bt1. 2 billion in 2015.
Staff can apply for early retirement beginning Thursday and until June 14 this year.
