130 passengers stranded at Nakhon Si Thammarat airport

About 130 passengers of Thai AirAsia airline were stranded at the Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport after its runway was partially flooded, according to Department of Airports.

In the department’s latest report released at 10.35 am, the airline and the airport helped the stranded passengers by providing them a free ride to the Trang Airport or any other airports nearby. 

For the airline's practice, if flights are cancelled, the airline will return the airfare at 100 per cent to the passengers. If they opt to postpone their flights, any costs occurred will be paid by the airline. In case the passengers want to continue their travelling, the airline will help them organise their flights departing from any other airports nearby.
