Thai Samsung returns Galaxy Note 7 stock to South Korea

Thai Samsung Electronics announced Saturday that it has returned all Galaxy Note 7 handset from the problematic batch back to Korea.

In is press statement, Thai Samsung assures that the Galaxy Note 7 that will be imported later will be newly-produced devices and will not come from the recalled batch.
“Thai Samsung Electronics has completely retrieved all the devices previously imported to Thailand for pre-booking customers from all the stores. Most recently, we have already shipped the inventory back to our South Korean Headquarters,” the statement said.

Its added IMEI numbers of the entire returned shipment has been recorded and will be made available for product verification, starting late next week.
“Samsung reassures that all the new shipments to Thailand will be newly-produced devices. At present, Samsung continues to work hard with production to expedite newly-produced shipments to various markets in succession for as quick delivery to customers as possible,” the statement said.
