NONTHABURI - The Public Health Ministry has reported that all wounded victims in the Friday bombings and arsons in the South were in stable condition and improving. It said 14 of them were released home Saturday.

The Mental Health Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team officials would also be visiting the victims at home periodically to prevent long-term trauma, said a statement by the ministry's centre for public disaster prevention and mitigation in regard of medical and public health released Saturday.
The victims were divided into four groups: 1. relatives of the deceased persons, 2. those injured in the attacks and their relatives, 3. those living in the scene's surrounding areas and general public members including tourists, and 4. the business operators locating within 100-metre radius of the scenes.
Their mental health state would be assessed, treated while officials would also provide them with advises on stress and depression handling and encouragement to live onward.
Those seeking mental health advises should call the ministry's mental health hotline at 1323 around the clock.
The bombings and arsons in Trang, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surat Thani and Ranong had led to 37 injuries - 23 of whom (15 Thais and eight foreigners) were treated at hospitals, the centre said. As of Saturday doctors released 11 Thais and three foreigners to home, the centre reported.
