Flood waters outside and inside the Land Transport Department on Phaholyothin Road in Bangkok's Chatuchak district during Tuesday’s morning rush hour posed difficulties for pedestrians and motorists and caused severe traffic jams. The level of the water in Phaholyothin fell at a slower rate than in other flooded areas of Bangkok due to the previous night’s heavy rains that left the drains unable to cope.
