Tridsadee 'Por' Sahawong succumbs to serious complications

After long battle with dengue fever for which he was treated in Ramathibodhi Hospital for more than two months, actor Tridsadee “Por” Sahawong died on Monday morning at the age of 38, the hospital announced.

The popular Channel 3 actor was admitted to hospital in early November after being infected with the dengue virus and developing serious complications. The doctors amputated his left foot below the ankle and removed his left lung to contain an infection as complications from the illness spread. He died five days before his birthday, which falls this Saturday (January 23). 
Por, a native of the Northeastern province of Buri Ram, was well known for such romantic small screen comedies as “Poo Yai Lee Gub Nang Ma” in which he starred opposite actress Chermarn “Ploy” Boonyasak in 2009 and “Tat Dao Bussaya” opposite singer/actress Worakarn “Punch” Rojjanawat in 2010. His current series “Sao Noi Roi Laan” is currently airing on Channel 3 from Monday to Friday
