NHSO spokesman Atthaporn Limpanyalert recently disclosed that his agency had scored 4.8473 out of a possible 5.
On average, public organisations received 4.2756 points in the assessment.
There are 13 public organisations that have been established under specific laws in Thailand, each with a different scope of duty.
“We are proud that we have earned the highest score,” Atthaporn said, “But such success would have not been possible without contributions from all stakeholders, particularly medical workers.”
NHSO has managed the country’s universal healthcare coverage scheme, which offers free medical treatments to about 48 million people in Thailand.
The Office of the Public Sector Development Commis-sion has compiled the assessment report, which was also submitted to the Cabinet meeting.
