100 gathers at Thammasat to support 14 students
More than 100 people gathered in front of the Thammasat University Auditorium, Tha Phra Chan, on Monday evening for an activity titled "Wings of Freedom" to show support for 14 detained student activists a day before their appearance in a military court
A stage with a public address system was set up for the rally, where friends and family of the detainees took turns to speak to the crowd about the arrests and the case.
Some of the participants made origami doves to symbolise freedom while others painted a mural with messages demanding freedom for the detained students.
