New Delhi (dpa) - At least two people are killed as Cyclone Hudhud hits coastal areas in India's southern state of Andhra Pradesh, officials say.

The cyclone brings heavy rains and winds with speeds up to 195kilometres per hour as it crosses land near the port city of Vishakapatnam, Indian Meteorological Department director LS Rathore says.
"Two people, a man and a woman, were killed in incidents of collapsing houses and trees in Vishakapatnam," an official at the state control room says.
