Grenade hurled at Tonson Tower in Chidlom, but fails to explode

The grenade thrown at Tonson Tower on Ploenchit Road early on Tuesday morning was similar to the MK2 type, police said.

The tower is about 100 metres from a military check point.
Officials are to check CCTV footage both from roadside cameras and those at the Tonson building.
